Required qualification for CSCS Card
Gateway Qualifications Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment
This qualification provides an important foundation to Health and Safety for individuals working or intending to work within the Construction industry. The qualification covers risk assessment, working at height, manual handling, improving health and safety at work and the safe operation of equipment.
Achievement of the Award fulfils the mandatory training requirements for the new CSCS Labourer Green Card.
The qualification is suitable for you if you are aged 16+ and require development of your knowledge and understanding of health and safety in a construction environment. You will gain the knowledge and skills to work safely and efficiently in your workplace.
The qualification is also for you if you wish to gain the CSCS Green Card, or if you are an existing Construction Site Operative cardholder seeking renewal.
